Users can create as many links as they need
How long my onodot link will be active?
We do not delete links from our database. Your links will be immediately deleted only if we find you spamming.
What does "expires in 30 days" mean?
It means your created link will be automatically deleted from our database after 30 days.
Can I use the expired link again?
You can't, because that link was permanently deleted from our database. You can, however, create a new link on the same subdomain, if that subdomain URL is available.
What does "Mask URL" mean?
When user clicks on a short link he will not see long url in browswer
Can I use onodot links to spam?
NO! Onodot.com has NO tolerance for spam. Using this service for spamming and other illegal purposes may be reported to the authorities and to proper governmental agencies.
If we find you spamming your links will be immediately deleted and your membership terminated.
When I want to create a new short URL the onodot url box turns red.
That mean, this particular short url has already been taken by someone else.
What is the Passkey?
Passkey protects access to you short URL management area.
Can I restore Passkey?
No, it's not possible. A passkey is created only once, automatically, during the creation of your short URL. If you don't save or write it down, there is no way to retrieve it later on.
Can I edit my short URL later on, i.e. change my original long url associated with a short url for something else?
Yes, but only if you are a member of "Advanced Stats and Tools" (e.g. Full Member) and you have a Passkey generated for your short URL.
Can I reset my advanced stats?
Yes, but only if you are a member of "Advanced Stats and Tools" (e.g. Full Member) and you have Passkey generated for your short URL. You can't restore your deleted stats !!!
Can I save my stats before reset?
You can export stats to Excel document, but only if you are a member of "Advanced Stats and Tools" (e.g. Full Member) and you have Passkey generated for your short URL.
